The Italian Ministry of the Interior is now targeting the sailing ships and small boats of SAR scene: We stand with Sea Eye 5 and Nadir. These practices have no legal basis. We will not be intimidated. The civilian fleet will continue to operate as long as peopleon the move are left alone. <\/p>\n\n

People do not let other people drown. Full stop. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n

“These practices have no legal basis”, says Admiral Sandro Gallinelli, who worked for the coastguard for 40 years ans is now retired.<\/p>\n\n
