{"id":3848,"date":"2026-06-17T19:14:57","date_gmt":"2026-06-17T17:14:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/seapunks.de\/?p=3848"},"modified":"2026-06-17T19:15:03","modified_gmt":"2026-06-17T17:15:03","slug":"we-cant-make-it-without-you-100000-euros-short","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/seapunks.de\/en\/we-cant-make-it-without-you-100000-euros-short\/","title":{"rendered":"WE CAN&#8217;T MAKE IT WITHOUT YOU: 100,000 EUROS SHORT"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hello there!<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">First, the good news: the Sea Punk I is not only back in the water and out of dry dock\u2014after seven months of tinkering, repairing, inspecting, and tinkering some more, we have <strong>FINALLY cleared all the necessary inspections.<\/strong> <strong>All certificates have been renewed<\/strong>, meaning the Sea Punk I is once again READY TO RESCUE.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Now for the &#8220;but&#8221;: the ship is back in the water, but our bank account is running dry. As has happened so often before, we had to stay in dry dock significantly longer than originally anticipated. We had planned for two months; in the end, it took nearly seven. Unsurprisingly, the whole process cost a fortune and punched a massive hole in our organization&#8217;s budget. All told, <strong>we had to invest just under \u20ac100,000 to get everything back in order. Looking at our account balance right now makes us feel a bit sick<\/strong> &#8211; not that we\u2019re actually broke! And while <strong>it\u2019s a huge deal that we once again have a seaworthy vessel, we simply don\u2019t have the funds needed to securely carry out the three rotations still planned for 2026.<\/strong>     <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So, as is often the case, we need your financial support! Otherwise, the Sea Punk I will remain in port and won&#8217;t be able to carry out a rotation. The next one is just around the corner &#8211; training has already begun. We are <strong>READY TO RESCUE<\/strong>. We want to head out to sea &#8211; but <strong>a rotation costs around 60,000 euros, driven by rising fuel costs that affect us, too.<\/strong>    <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>In short: WE CAN&#8217;T DO IT WITHOUT YOU! It is a track that takes an unequivocal stand on migration policy. With this song, Chaos Commute not only draws attention to human rights violations at external borders and seeks to raise awareness of migration issues, but also donates all proceeds from the song to us.
