Hello! The Sea Punk I is back from its fourth rotation – our crew had to raise the alarm ten times in just a few hours and ultimately saved 222 people in distress at sea from a worse fate. The crew and ship are back safe and sound, and the rescued people were brought ashore safely. However, our RHIB, the speedboat, was severely damaged during a complicated maneuver and is no longer operational. This means we need a new one. And for that, as always, we need your kind support ! All the information in the following lines!

222 PEOPLE IN DISTRESS AT SEA RESCUED
The Sea Punk I crew assisted 222 people in distress at sea during the last rotation. They were on nonstop duty for two days without a single moment’s peace and did an enormous job.
Four times, the crew found only an empty boat, one of which was on fire. One search led nowhere. Presumably, people fleeing were intercepted here by the so-called Libyan Coast Guards – a violation of existing human rights law! In these 48 hours, the crew of Sea Punk I actively supported five boats in distress. As a result, 222 people who were in distress at sea were saved from worse.

This mission was supported by United4Rescue. This and donations like yours made it possible to purchase life jackets, medicine, and food, as well as to fill up the ship’s fuel tanks. Thank you so much for your solidarity!
As a result of the harsh conditions our RHIB got damaged during the rescue and was not functioning any longer. Due to the broken RHIB we had to end this rotation. The Sea Punk I has now safely returned to the port in Augusta. An immense thank you goes out to our crew which showed incredible resilience and strength while conducting a challenging rescue operation.
Now, we need your immediate support : we need a new RHIB…

WE NEED MONEY FOR A NEW RHIBBEDI RHIB
WE NEED YOU NOW – urgently! During our last rescue mission, our RHIB was severely damaged and is no longer usable. We need a new one, and this quickly! The next rotation is already planned for November. To be able to cover these unexpected additional costs, we need your support! Please donate . To do sea rescue costs money – not doing it costs lives. No sea rescue without you!
WARM RECOMMENDATION: GO TO THE CINEMA AND WATCH “NO COUNTRY FOR NO ONE”
