HELLO OUT THERE!
The Sea Punk I is back in harbour after a successful operation in February and our crew is already preparing for the next departure. More details about the rotation will be coming soon, just to say this much: we were again in a situation where we were able to support people in distress at sea. A great crew worked together in a very coordinated manner.
So that we can set off again soon, we also need people to look after the ship while it is in harbour. We are currently looking for support until the end of April in the areas of electric, engine and logistics. Media coverage of civil sea rescue has declined in recent years, but we noticed a strong interest in the topic during the Q&A sessions after the screenings. We are looking forward to the next dates with you and your loved ones!

Arturo, our captain, is pleased and gives us a very important update on the Juventa:
“The public prosecutor’s office of the Court of Trapani has asked for all charges against the defendants to be dropped, as even for them the witnesses are not reliable! Formally, they have asked for the “non luogo a procedere”, which means that they do not believe that anyone has committed a crime and therefore do not want the trial to continue. The judge will pass judgement in the next few weeks. But it is basically a sign that the case will be dropped when even the prosecution asks for the charges to be dropped. Remarkably, this is the same public prosecutor’s office that initiated the investigation.”
