LIVE +++ MANGIARE MANGIARE +++ First shopping trip to the local fruit and vegetable shop wrapped up. 101.23 euros for such a solid basic supply. Some of it goes straight into the minestrone for lunch; the fruit basket is arranged, and vitamin intake is taken care of. A balanced diet certainly won’t be a concern here. The local discount store also offers an amazing selection of vegan alternatives; vegetarian food is already a minimum requirement here anyway. Another 143.81 euros spent on a substantial basic supply. That comes to a total of 245.04 euros, and that was just the first part of the weekly shopping trip. 14 crew members, two meals a day, breakfast on their own. It all adds up. So this is where your donations go, among other things. Anyone who’d like to help us stock the pantries is welcome to do so.The early bird catches the Cornetto! First task of the day: driving our SSC (Ship Shore Coordination, also affectionately known as Shit Show Coordination) to the airport in Catania. Alarm set for 5 a.m., an unchristian hour. Normally, public transit is the mode of transportation of choice here, no special treatment. But no buses run that early. With the departure of our SSC, the official handover is complete. Shipyard over, rotation incoming! Over the course of the day, most of the crew arrives. For now, we enjoy a classic Italian breakfast at the airport, caffè e cornetto. Back on board, a hearty meal is served once again.+++ TEASER +++ LIVE-TICKER +++ ALL ABOARD +++ Ahoi and welcome aboard! Tomorrow morning, things will really get going here. The crew for our next rotation is arriving, preparations for the mission are in full swing, and we’re taking you behind the scenes of the SEA PUNKS. Training sessions, technical checks, the galley, and the usual madness on board. We’ll be reporting at regular and, above all, irregular intervals on everything that’s happening here. This live ticker is presented by Sergio, being on board starting tomorrow as a logistics person and apparently doesn’t have enough to do yet. So all aboard, we’re setting sail from here tomorrow morning! Follow live

SEA PUNKS x INTERNATIONALER FC ROSTOCK: SOLIDARITY JERSEYS LAUNCH

IFC Rostock approached us with a really solid initiative: they’ve printed our Sea Punks logo on their men’s first-team jerseys.

And now you can also purchase this jersey in yellow and black or black and red. Pre-orders will be accepted throughout June via this link: campai

You decide how much you want to pay: the solidarity price ranges from €55 to €100. All proceeds—minus production and overhead costs—will be donated to us, funding our rotations in the Mediterranean and supporting people on the move.

Why is IFC Rostock doing this? Because, just like us, they are convinced that people in distress at sea must not be left to their fate.

So, if you agree and like to make a difference, too, grab one of these stylish jerseys now and support our next rotation!

Love & Rage
