SEA PUNK I
The struggle for survival faced by those who attempt the dangerous journey across the Mediterranean is almost beyond comprehension. Packed tightly onto unsafe boats, people sometimes drift for days in harsh weather — experiencing cold, heat, and rain without access to food, water, or medical help on the open sea, far from any chance of rescue. As Sea Punks, we aim for a society free of racism—one that welcomes and supports refugees as they seek a fresh start. Our vision is of a community where these individuals are embraced as integral parts, not seen as problems. We strive for a society that doesn’t turn a blind eye to people facing danger on their escape routes, being rejected, or pushed back, allowing them to perish without assistance.
